I know there is a time for a wish list and some people don't really take the time out to fill these out then in the middle of the year they have ideas or requests that they should have placed in their wish list. Well........ A client contacted me today about the possibility of getting the system to have a timer on logging persons out of Adagio or the System Administrator had the capability to do so. Apparently what should be an internal affair isn't quite working out. Persons are logging in to use modules like Inventory and Order Entry and just leave it up and running so when the person responsible for completing orders and running day end etc wants to do such tasks they are left with having to try and reach the persons who are logged in so they can log out.
Maybe this can be a featured looked at in the development process for the up coming upgrades.....I figure I may not remember this come year end.

Speaking for Softrak (since I've seen this request so many times), it would be risky to build that function into Adagio. Too much chance for corrupting the database.
It would be much safer for your company to grant the system administrator remote access to the various workstations, and let the sysadmin close each instance of Adagio gracefully.
As Steve mentioned, there are many technical issues why this is not easy to implement. However, it came up on this year's Adagio Wish campaign, and we are certainly aware of why it would be useful.
