Hi bsa,
Adagio uses the Crystal Reports engine for printing it's management reports. If you preview a report and nothing happens, this usually happens for one of two reasons:
1) The version of the Crystal Reports print engine is incorrect, due to installing another application that also uses Crystal Reports. The file that Adagio uses was overwritten. Look for the crpe32.dll file in C:\windows\system32 - it should be version 7.1.100.15.
2) The table required to print the report can't be located. The path to the report tables drive is stored in the Windows registry, and is set when you run the workstation setup. If Adagio cannot find this registry key, then it would be able to locate the table.
You've said that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Can you be more specific, such as certain reports work and other reports don't, or reports don't work when setting a certain option?
I would recommend re-running the workstation setup while logged into the Win2000 machine as the user, not as Admin. This will write the appropriate registry entries that are readable by the user - of course the user has to have install rights to their machine. Afterwards (depending if you have a more current version of Adagio Invoices), look for a program called CHKSYS.EXE in the \softrak\system directory. This will check your local machine to make sure that the workstation setup was successful, identifying any problems it finds.
