In OE, we put the credit card authorization number in the cheque number field. I'd like it to print on the invoice but I can't seem to find it in the spec list. Any help would be appreciated.

PS Is there a way of exporting the spec list into excel or something so a quick search can be performed?

In OE sample data, there is a spec file called OE$ALL.sam (look in \Softrak\OEWIN\SAMDATA). You can copy it to your live data folder and change the extension to .DAT. It has all of the available codes in logical groups. You can look at it in the Designer or print an Invoice using this spec file so that the actual data elements from an invoice are displayed.

I believe that the "All Codes" specification is available as a Template in the Designer, so can be placed in the data folder without resorting to Explorer and the sample data. But I've been wrong before!

Every Adagio module that manages Forms has an "All codes" specification that prints out every possible field and it's value for a form of your choice. It's an easy way to locate a specific field.

I know about the "All" spec. What I was hoping for was something like the field list window that is displayed. The all spec shows abbreviations whereas the field list doesn't.

The needed field is: C14 Cust check #. So much for searching for 'cheque'.

"C14" is the unambiguous designation. That's why we have those codes! Sorry that wasn't clear.
