I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question but...
When doing item maintenance, the data that you select from the "combo box" is stored in the item record in that table you mentioned above. So if you were doing a GridView that included the optional fields from that table, you should see the data that was chosen from the combo box when the item was created / edited being displayed in your view.
If you are asking where the combo box list of items are actually defined... Inventory Module | File (Menu) | Optional fields ...
I'll leave the limit question to Softrak but are you asking about the limit on the number of items that can be listed as choices for the Combo Box or the limit of Inventory items/products ?
