year end indicates the need to print and clear period end clearing journal but when prompting to print clearing posting journal says there was no journal found to print. ??

In this situation, try looking in your data folder for an APPOSTP.xxx data file (where 'xxx' represents whatever your 3-character data extension is). If found, while no one is using Adagio, 'rename' the file. When you reopen Payables, see if this has resolved the problem.

If you are uncomfortable with any of these steps, it's best to contact and involve your Adagio consultant who will be familiar with doing these things.

What should I rename it?

What you call it is not as important as simply calling it something other than what Adagio calls it. I'd suggest keeping the part before the "." and renaming the 3 Character extension as in "APPOSTP.XXX" would become "APPOSTP.OLD-renamed to solveYrEnd issue".

Wouldn't hurt to backup before you rename and Data Integrity Check after you rename.

PS: If all goes well you should go back and remove the renamed file or if you're really being safe, temporarily move it to a holding folder to be deleted later.
