Hello Samual,

As Adagio is configured on our computers, it works as I described above using the same current versions that you are using. We can edit a ship-to address under the Customer tab and then reload the same ship/to a second time under the Bill-to/Ship-to screen and the edited information will replace the previous ship/to info without exiting & re-entering the order. It has worked this way for several versions of OE. I don't know what program setting would interfere with this.

I agree with you if the user is editing an existing ShipTo record.
But try adding a new ShipTo and watch what happens.

Hi, Samuel,

I've been following this and, after doing some testing, have found that there is something to what you are saying when a new ShipTo code is added to a Customer from within an order. The Shipto Addresses Finder grid isn't getting updated right away. While sometimes it does display the new ShipTo code, the number of ShipTo's it displays doesn't increase. As such, the newly added code doesn't always display in the grid.

The grid is refreshed if the order is closed and reopened and then all ShipTo's properly display.

I'll report this to R&D for you.

Hello,

The grid problem never comes up for us since we have enabled "Create shiptos during order entry" in the Group Setup/Order Template. It is always best to create new shiptos here during order entry since many of the fields will already be filled in correctly and you can overwrite the other fields. After creating the new shipto, it will be loaded into the order at the conclusion and there is no reason to check the grid at all.
