Hi Wayne,
1) The utility you refer to is called PrintTool, and was introduced in the Sept 2002 release of Crystal Reports for Adagio. If you have this release installed, you should find a file called Printool.exe in the \softrak\rpwin directory on your network server drive. This is the program file that can be run by workstations that do not have the Crystal Reports designer program, and print your customized reports.
On each workstation, you need to run a setup program first (called PTsetup.exe) before you can use PrintTool. You need administrative rights to your machine when this workstation setup is run, as files are installed to the local machine and information is written to the Windows registry, and a shortcut is created for this machine.
2) If you choose to use IRGLOB as the database selector for loading Inventory Receipts tables, an internal checking process is run to find the correct tables. This process may fail if you have a unrecognized version of IR.
I have IR65A and am able to use IRGLOB as a database selector. If you are unable to, there is an alternate way of loading the tables, though not as elegant. Instead of IRGLOB, use ADAGIO.SSI as the database selector. On the screen that appears, enter your company's database location, and choose to load 'All' tables. Inventory Receipts does install a table usable by Crystal Reports for Adagio, and as long as it installed correctly, you should be able to see it in the (very long) list, sorted alphabetically.
