Hi All
I startted OE (8.1C) Day End processing as usual. Then received message: Day end processing was NOT completed. Then received message "Invalid floating point operation". I contacted Softrak, assuming that I need data repair service, left 2 voice messages during business hours and noone returned my calls.
I still need help with this issue. I can be reached @ 416-602-9893.

Thank you
Victor

Hi Victor,

Sorry, we have a new phone system and had a staff meeting this afternoon. Does the data pass the DIC? Please upload the data to http:\\www.softrak.com\dbr and we'll take a look this weekend.

Hi Andrew:

I had a conversation with Victor on Friday. The way the Dayend is failing, I'll bet it's bad amount in Order Header or Detail...or some 'divide by zero' related to costing. Some new order is crashing the Dayend. DIC is clean, so there are no P1 or P2 errors. Victor viewed those two files with GridView with no visible problems. It's not a problem for moving data to history, because those options were unchecked. I'd help, but I'm on the road this weekend.

Hi Victor,

Did the problem resolve itself? There's been no database upload to check.

This was caused by a Unit Factor value = 0 in the O/E Line file which resulted in the Dayend trying to divide by zero.

Future O/E DIC's will check for this error condition.
