There is no last year's amount, but year to date amount for current year is correct. When I click transactions, historical tab, all last year's transactions are listed there.

Amounts are moved from the current year to last year when you run the year end function in Receivables.

If these numbers are important to you, the Toolkit for Adagio has a utility that will recalculate the numbers based on the transaction dates it finds.

But there's last year amount for the other companies using Adajio receivable. I used the same procedures to rund the year end. So what happened to this company?

David:
Could Year-End have been run twice by accident in that company?

Hi Bruce,
Most probably. I am not sure. If so, is there any way I can do to recover it?

David:
There are 3 possible solutions, all requiring either an investment in time or money.
  • As suggested by Andrew earlier, you could purchase Dakota's Toolkit which will re-calculate based on historical transactions
  • You can restore AR data from before Year-End to another folder, export the "Current Year" totals and import them into your current data as "Last Year"
  • If you have GridView, you can create a report into the AR transaction file, filter by date and transaction type, group by Customer, send to Excel, format the file and import it as "Last Year"

Hi David

The most likely cause, as Bruce suggested, is that you ran year-end twice, but not this year, rather at the end of 2010. That would account for last year's statistics being zero but this year's being accurate.
