In Order Entry after shipped some items, before printing new salesorder for the backorder item added new comment line but the added comment line will not print.

Please advise how to have the added comment line to be printed together with the backorder item.

Does the specification include a section for the comment line? Have you selected not to print $0.00 items on the form (which would suppress both the backordered item and its comment)?

No, did not select not to print $0.00 items on form, as it prints on the original order just not the backorder.

A little known fact about comment lines is that they are linked to the item above them, for purposes of printing on forms. So any comments directly below a shipped item are suppressed when printing backorder forms.

If you want a comment to always print, put it at the very top of the order.
