Hello Double T

Which Adagio module are you referring to? Payables, Receivables or Invoices?

The restored data will only contain an open batch if that is what existed when the original backup was made. If you did not make a backup at the point where this batch actually existed in the first place - then restoring the backup will not help - actually, it may be worse. Remember - when you restore data from a backup - all processing that was done after the backup was made must be re-entered.

The question is - when was this backup actually made?

Did you make a copy of the existing data BEFORE you restored the backup? If so, perhaps there is a chance that our database repair department can salvage it. If not - then I am afraid you will have no recourse but to re-key everything you did after that backup was originally done.

Also - Adagio has a wonderful Data Integrity check and rebuild function. Did you try running this? DO A BACKUP of the data BEFORE you run this and give it today's date or time in the name, so you will have it if required!

The real answer to your question depends on whether or not the files actually exist, and whether or not they are in a state that can be retrieved or repaired if so.
