The problem lies in the dataset itself, in the files that tell Adagio if all PJ's have been printed and/or cleared - that is why you cannot duplicate this in the other 'Companies'.
WORKAROUND:
If you are sure that:
Batch Status report has been printed and cleared
GL Trans report has been printed/cleared (and/or sub-ledger batch has been retrieved into GL)
All other Period End reports have been printed that you require, then...
Go in and manually delete the posting journal files. To do this:
1. Make a good backup FIRST!
2. Close AR
3. Using MS Explorer or DOS Prompt, go to your data directory
4. Delete all the ARPOST*.xxx files (where xxx is your data extension)
5. Go back in to AR and proceed as normal
*Symptoms as above could be caused by restoring data files without deleting all files beforehand.
