Hi Sherri
Yes, this is exactly what we would suggest. Creating a new '2002' folder on the drive you wish to keep this data, then copying or unzipping the backup of your TB*.* files (and related data, like AR*.*, GL*.* and AP*.*) into this new folder.
You will then be able to carry on with your current processing.
Also, to make it easier to access that data, you can create a separate desktop shortcut that points just to this data, to keep it apart from your existing shortcut. To do this:
1. Create a new shortcut, and point it to x:\Softrak\TBWIN\Tbwin.exe, where 'x' is the drive on the Server where Adagio is installed.
2. Modify the shortcut to tell it to point to the new 2002 folder -
i) Right-click on the new shortcut and select Properties.
ii) In the Target field, go to the end of the program path and type a space.
iii) Type /dx:\{2002 billing directory} - where x: represents the drive, and {2002 billing directory} represents the folder name.
iv) Type another space and then: /e{your data file extension}.
For example, when you are finished, the Target field should look something like this:
X:\SOFTRAK\TBWIN\Tbwin.exe /dX:\ASP\DATA\2002 /eDAT
Where 'X' is the drive where the TBWIN program is located, and X:\ASP\DATA\2002 is the new 2002 Billing directory, and DAT is your data's 3-character data file extension.
You must have a space between each separate parameter.
FYI, If you wanted to go further with this, you could also add the Username and Password you use to start TBWIN.
/u{USERNAME} defines the User
/p{PASSWORD} defines the Password
So, if you want to use it all, the end result would be:
X:\SOFTRAK\TBWIN\Tbwin.exe /uSherri /pMe /dX:\ASP\DATA\2002 /eDAT
If your Username is 'Sherri' and Password is 'Me'.
Hope this helps!
