With the Export to Excel Direct function, rather than having the export create a new "book", is there a way to have the function create a new "sheet" in an existing book, or have it replace an exiting "sheet" in an existing book?

Thanks
Matthew

Hello McNeill & Co. Inc.,

Sorry, at the moment the answer is "No". However, it is a simple matter to select the whole sheet and copy and paste it into an existing book.

P.S. I haven't had any follow-up on Quik Link or the doing the "job costing" reports in the Financial Reporter. Is this issue closed?

Yep, its simple for you and I, but our client is hoping for a more automated process. I suspect our workaround will be to link the individual books to a separate book that we use for totalling. Of course all of this wouldn't be necessary if cells from different sheets in the financial reporter could be totalled on another sheet.

As far as Quik Link goes, we are still exploring all of the options, including it.

Hello McNeill & Co. Inc.,

I agree about referencing between sheets, but that is not possible at this time. Have you considered simply having a large number of rows in the first sheet? While there may be a problem if the various "sheets" have different numbers of columns or layout, you can easily insert page breaks (or Hide when Print) and refer to the rows below for the summary sheet, which presumably would be the top several rows.

If it is important that all these be on different sheets, then Quik Link would be the answer.

PS - I tried to call you directly, but our phone number on file is incorrect and I cannot find you on the web. Please send me an e-mail with contact information.
