How can I generate a report shows ONLY the list of customers who are in the Special Prices? The only report I can run is the report that shows all details (OE>Report>Special Price File Report)and it's over 200 pages. I don't want the details with items, just a listing showing customer # who are set up in the Special Prices.

You can create a GridView to read the Special Price data and add a filter for the customer. Your GridView can contain just the fields you want to include.

Is there a way to export the list to an Excel spreadsheet instead of creating a Gridview?

If you are running a current version of OE, you can Export Special Prices from the File menu and the Export sub-menu. When you choose to export, you can select a single customer or a consecutive range of customers.

Okay, I ran it but it still provides me with all the details of the Special Prices. All we want to have is a report showing just the customer numbers so that we know how many customers are set up with the Special Prices.

Hi Kitty,

The Export Special Prices template can be configured to export only the Customer number and none of the other columns. You can then modify the Excel sheet to get what you want, depending on the version of Excel. I see in Excel 2010 that there is a function to Remove Duplicates on the 'Data' tab. Doing this with just the Customer number field will delete all records but one for each customer. This could be setup with an Excel macro, after the export has been completed, to make it more automatic.

If all you want is a list of customer that have special prices without any extra modifications, then you will need to follow the route that Doug suggested and create a customized GridView inquiry or Crystal Report. There is no standard report or process that currently exists in OrderEntry to do what you are looking for.
