Oops - forgot something.
That message is also indicative of the data and/or program file location changing. This could mean that something else changed as well as the upg to W2K.
In this case, you may have to re-establish the new pathing.
The error, "The file 'x:\QRASP\QRTABLES.INI' could not be found." is described in the QRW 62B Users Guide in Appendix A. (Although you should ignore any reference to the ACCPAC install disk ? this is no longer valid reference, as the past couple of releases of QRW has everything you require on the CD.)
If the QR tables have been installed, this error message means that the CRW.INI file has not been updated with the correct path to the QRASP. There are two ways to correct this:
1. CREATE A NEW CUSTOM REPORT
In QRW, create a new custom report. On the 'Select program for report' screen, choose the 'Edit Company' button.
In the section 'ACCPAC Data?, choose the ?New? button.
Click the ?Browse? button
Find the Data Drive and directory where the ACCPAC Plus data resides that you want to use QRWIN with.
Click on one of the xxGLOB.dat files (AR for example) & click OK.
Click OK if all the information displayed in the next couple of screens is correct, then from the Select Program for Report window, select the AR version that is installed.
Select a table from the list (say, Customer Information), then click OK.
Insert a couple of fields on your report, then save the report as ?Test.rpt? or something.
This will update the ACCPACPath= line under [ACCPAC.DLLInfo] section of the CRW.INI file. The CRW.INI file is located in the Windows directory.
2. EDIT THE CRW.INI FILE
Exit QRWIN.
Using MS Explorer, go to your C:\Windows directory.
Click on the crw.ini file to open it.
Find the section that is entitled [ACCPAC.DLLInfo]
Scroll down until you find the line ?ACCPACPath=?.
You must ensure that this line contains the drive letter where your ACCPAC programs and \QRASP directory are located. If this is not the case, edit the line to display the correct drive letter, and save your changes.
You can now exit Explorer and go back in to QRWIN and try again to print your reports.
