Adagio Receivables 9.0B (110727)

We are experiencing problems e-mailing statements to customers. Some of them are receiving the cover letter but no attachment. If I send it to my e-mail address and forward it, they receive it. Any ideas why this is happening to only certain customers.

Hi,

As this is occurring at some of your customer sites only, it sounds like their email client is stripping out the attachment for some reason. Perhaps it thinks it's spam or something. When you forward the email, their email client is treating the attachment differently. They'll need to look at their email settings.

What happens if you send to this customer individually from within Receiables' email queue (i.e. don't use Send All). Do they receive everything then? Also, is your Receivables email setup for Direct or MAPI?

As you have customers that are receiving the attachments, Receivables is definitely sending all of the information.

Hi premium

I have had that experience occasionally when using MAPI (Outlook) as the setup. Try using Direct and I think you will have better success. Of course you have to know the answer to all of the questions Direct wants.

You should be aware that multiple e-mails from a single IP address, all with the same subject line, is almost the definition of spam, so even a seemingly innocent activity like e-mailing Adagio AR statements can be a challenge in today's spam-infested world.

Mass e-mails with attachments are always more suspect to spam filters than mass e-mails without attachments.

There are sites on the Internet where you can find out if your ISP or mail host's IP address is blacklisted or has a low score. This can cause some of your e-mails to be blocked by some span filters.

As a last resort, you might want to Google SPF or DKIM, both of which can give a mass e-mail sender increased credibility.
