I have succeeded in manipulating the trial balance for a Stmt of changes in Cash Flow. Just wondering if anyone has developed a report in Financial Reporter?

Where did you "manipulate" the Trial Balance? If it was in Excel, then import the Excel worksheet into the financial reporter File | Import from Excel direct with your Excel worksheet open in another window.

There's also s "Statement of Cashflows" in the sample data.

Hi mk

I have developed a number of Statement of Changes in Cash Flow. You wouldn't want any of them. I basically have to start from scratch each time, because companies have such different ideas of what they should look like.

It is the hardest statement to write because it is basically a combination balance sheet and income statement.

That being said, take a look at the example at this link - http://www.greatstatements.com/pdf/set1-5.pdf - and if you like it you can find it in the sample data, as Andrew mentioned.

I agree with Steve, the Cash Flow is the hardest statement to define and create. It must be a custom specification per client. It always surprises me, once I start the process, that the statement comes out correctly at the end. It is generally so convoluted that you really don't know if you have it completely correct until the last total is done.
