One of our customers sends us orders via EDI. We use a program called EDI-PAC to receive the orders and convert them into a .txt file that is imported into Order Entry. Once imported, we print an order action report to look through. Lately, on some parts, unit price will be 100 times less than it should be i.e. a part that is $25 shows as $0.25. In one particularly strange case, two orders of the same part, with the same shipping date, shows the correct unit price in one order but 100 times less in the other. There doesn't appear to be any pattern as to which parts are affected except for the fact that it has happened to one of the parts on at least two occasions. What could be the cause of this problem? We are running OE 8.1C (100208).

Hello:
Have you looked at the source file from EDI-PAC to make certain the pricing is correct there? Do the affected parts have alternate units of measure?

Also check the Import Orders template - there is an option called 'Implied decimal point' that will convert numbers such as 123 to 1.23 if there is no decimal in the number. Perhaps you don't want this option enabled?

As Bruce indicated, take a look at the source file to see how the numbers are formatted.
