In Gridview report, how come some inactive items in Inventory are not showing I in Active Item field? Is there any steps we missed?

What version of IC are you using? See Help | About in I/C

The version of IC is 8.1C. The report is working properly before. Is it related about period end or year end?

As in 8.1C (100716) or 8.1C (101104 )?
Does the Data Integrity Check in IC have errors?
If GridView is not showing an "I" is it showing an "A" or is it blank.
If you add the "Active item" to the Item Inquiry Grid what does it show.

Are these items being added thru PO?
Do you have PO 8.1B (110325) installed?

Older versions of PO did not know about the "Active item" setting.

Our POA is 8.1A (091029)

Don't add items to IC using PO 8.1A (091029).
You need to be using PO 8.1B (110325)

Hi Mavis,

In Adagio Inventory versions prior to 8.1C, an 'Active' item used to have a blank value for the active items, and 'I' for inactive items. This changed in version 8.1C so that 'A' is the value for active items.

This is why it was working before with IC and PO - because both applications used blank for active items. Because you upgraded inventory to 8.1C, you must also upgrade PO to 8.1B as Michael indicated to get everything bank in synch.

You should be aware that adding items using PO81A will cause integrity errors to Inventory, and PO8.1B will address this as well.
