Hello chi_tech,

Monday is a holiday in Canada, so there will be another delay before someone more competant than I can fully answer. (I'm surprised you'd get a "new" computer with Windows 98SE - 2000 or XP would be much better choices.)

Are your ACCPAC Plus files (\ASP, \QRASP, \GLASP etc) on your local machine or your network? Is the drivew mapping to your server the same on your new machine as your old one? If your ACCPAC files are local, did you also re-install the Quik Reports for Windows tables necessary from Disk 1 as the message requests?

This is an old version of Quik Reports for Windows. You should check out Crystal Reports for Adagio, an upgrade that has countless new features (and runs significantly faster).

Hi chi_tech,

The problem you are running into is an incomplete file on your local hard drive that contains the path to the tables directory. The easiest way to fix this is to start creating a new Custom report. This process will visit the data file that contains this path.

After selecting the database (accpac.ssi), you will get to the scrren to select a program and database. Click the Edit Company button, and on the next screen at the top, choose the correct drive letter than contains your Accpac programs. Once this is done, your file will be complete.

That being said, our newer Crystal Reports for Adagio is far more useful and powerful than the older Quik Reports for Windows.

Regards,
