We have cheque specifications with the micr encoding. I am trying to change our bank account # on the cheque specification.

How do I do this? Where does the specification draw the information from? When I look at the specification, the # is @99999999999.

We are using A/P 8.1C.

Thanks

Hi, Shirley,

Within Payables, select Help | Banks and edit the appropriate bank. You'll find the MICR Encoding field on the first tab. Using the Shift/1, Shift/2 and Shift/3 keystrokes will enable you to enter certain special characters in this field.
