The item code in our Adagio system only allows up to 5 characters. Is there any way we could increase it ? if so, please let me know how to do it and what the max number of the characters it could be ?

by the way, our purchase model is from purple.

Hi Henry,

The maximum number of characters that an Inventory item can have is 16, with up to 4 segments.

Once a company is created, you cannot simply edit the item number format in the Adagio Inventory company profile to increase the number of characters for the item code. However, there is a utility program called Toolkit for Adagio that will allow changing the Format of the item number code after the company is created.

If this is interesting to investigate, you can discuss this with your Adagio consultant.

We are currently using Purple 2.1, when I was installing the Adagio purchase order 8.1A , I recevied a message - "the current version it too old" . could you please let me know what is the upgrade path of moving from Purple 2.1 to Adagio purchase order 8.1B?
