I am trying to save the Detail Listing report as a PDF file. Whenever I export into word, the dollar amounts all disappear and whenever I export into excel, it loses some of the nice formatting! There are Detail listing reports saved as PDF on my computer from an old WaterCan employee, but I just can't figure out how to do it!

Do you have a printer driver that outputs directly to a PDF? If so, then you can choose to print Adagio reports to this driver instead of a printer, in order to create a PDF file for the report.

It doesn't look like it! When I go into Word, I can just save it as a PDF file and there is no option to print to PDF.

Directly from Adagio without doing anything else? No.

If you google 'PDF printer driver', there are a number of free or cheap printer drivers that you could install to direct any printing of a Windows application to a PDF file, which of course would include Adagio.

Indeed you can direct Office documents such as Word or Excel to a PDF file, which will create a file that looks like the Word/Excel output as opposed to what it looks like in Adagio.
