Hi Connie,
Another known problem when printing the batch listing report is the existance of 'orphan' batch files in the data directory. This would be caused by restoring data over top of existing data, without removing the original data first. The result is that some batch files get left behind that don't belong. Because the batch listing report reads all of these files, it doesn't know what to do with the files that don't belong.
If this is the problem, this is what you need to do:
1) Look at which batch numbers exist within Quik Check for Windows. Then close the program.
2) Go to your data directory and search for data files QCC####. The #### represents the batch number.
3) If you find any data files with a batch number that doesn't exist, then these files shouldn't be there. As long as nobody is in the program, you can safely delete or rename these files. There will be a couple of files for each batch.
Error 533 is a fairly generic message. Another possible solution would be to reinstall the program as some Crystal entries were somehow lost, and the reinstall would put them back.
There are a few other issues posted on this forum about this. Do a search (from the top right of this window) on 533, and you will find about 8-10 issues about this error.
Regards,
