Hi scryer21,

1) If you use Adagio Ledger to open a database that been used by Accpac Plus GL 7.0, the GL data will be converted to a '6.5' level, in order to allow Adagio to work. If you then continue to use Accpac GL 7.0, it will want to convert the data back to 7.0. That means if you wish to use Adagio Ledger, you really should not continue to use version 7.0 of Accpac GL.

2) You will not run into a similar problem if Accpac GL 6.5 is used. There should be no issues if you use Adagio Ledger and GL6.5 side by side.

3) If you use DataCare on GL data accessed by Adagio, that is no problem at all; DataCare will work successfully. In fact, DataCare works fine with all data used by Adagio (except Time&Billing). Note that there are a few data files that Adagio uses exclusively from Accpac Plus, and DataCare will not check those files. You may also want to at least occasionally run an integrity check from within Adagio Ledger to make sure your data is OK.

Not only that, but the integrity check within Adagio has the ability of fixing some errors that would otherwise be unfixable via DataCare or the System Manager integrity check.

Regards,
