I could not find you in our End User database - have you registered Adagio with us yet? Could you be listed as a different Company Name?
You should not be prompted for a Username/Password during the installation procedure - have you already installed it and are trying to access the data?
Perhaps after the installation, you have pointed to the incorrect path when prompted for the TASKS file location?
If you are using Adagio Ledger with existing ACCPAC Plus G/L Data - this path is normally X:\ASP, where 'X' represents the drive where the ACCPAC programs are installed, and 'ASP' is the folder that contains the 'EZTASKS' file. If this data was originally created with and only used by Adagio - then this path should be X:\SOFTRAK\SYSTEM where 'X' is the drive where Adagio was installed to (i.e. where the Softrak folder resides).
Unfortunately, if someone has changed the password for the default 'SYS' Username, there is no easy way to 'reset' this that we are able to post on the Forum.
You could try reinstalling Adagio, but this would require uninstalling it first, then renaming the Softrak folder before doing so. After reinstalling in this way, the Username defaults will be 'reset' and you should be able to get into your data by using SYS and SYS again. If you use any other Adagio module, this would have to be reinstalled as well.
If this does not help, then there is something else going on that is preventing Adagio from recognizing the defaults, and you should either contact your Dealer to have them help you (a Softrak Business Partner can contact us directly on your behalf), or register Adagio Ledger and contact Customer Service to see about getting on a combined support plan, which includes direct Technical Support.
