Can anyone tell me if I am able to print a prior year report ie. Trial Balance in Version 8.0 after posting a prior year batch of YE Adjusting entries from the auditor?

Only if you also post those entries in the backup you made prior to running year end.

If you were using Adagio Ledger 9.0, you would be able to maintain multiple years of GL data within the same dataset (i.e. without having to go back to a prior year folder and reopen that data to see that year's transactions). In Ledger 9.0, you could select to report on the prior fiscal year right from the print window. Much more convenient.
