The Adagio Financial Reporter is tied to the database in use. Because of this, you cannot simply run the ALFinRep.exe file to start the Financial Reporter. Instead, you first have to run Adagio Ledger and with the database you access, you can load the reporter.
If you want to create or edit reports, or print the reports, the proper way is via the Maintenance menu. If you only want to print reports, you can click the button on the toolbar.
If this is what you are doing and are still getting that message, the problem is the directory that the data is stored in has a space in the path (ie F:\softrak\my data). The solution is to remove the space in the path, either by deleting it or replacing it with an underscore (mydata or my_data).
