I have posted several A/P cheques and they show on the cheque register but when I look at the vendor balances the cheque doesn't show up, however when I double click an invoice that I know has been paid it is shows as paid. Basically the cheques have been posted but are not showing as paid when a payable report is run.

What date was used when posting the checks? If they are post-dated, they may not show up on the particular Payable Report if the report date is earlier than the check date. There may be a note on the report that the invoice has been settled by a post-dated check.

The cheques were not post dated.

Now we have also discovered that several a/p batches are showing up multiple times.

G/L gives the error

data intergrity stopped by system
posting journal file out of order

The GL integrity error in itself would not be the cause of vendor transactions not showing up in vendor inquiry, that do appear on a check register. But the fact that an integrity error appears in GL might indicate that there were other errors in the past, and more investigation is required.

You should be in contact with your Adagio consultant, as this issue requires more attention than what an online forum can provide.
