Hi Shane,

We haven't heard of this error before, nor is it listed in the Crystal Knowledge base. Are you installing from the CD or from a downloaded file?

Also, where during the install do these error messages appear? You may be able to check the install log (crwsetup.log in the \qrw directory) to see where the install tripped up.

Can you install on a different machine using the same process (CD or file)? If so, then something in your laptop configuration is getting in the way.

When the laptop was rebooted and the install tried again, the error message (that occured after entering the serial number) did not occur and the install went fine.
