When a requisition is approved, the date of the requisition transfers over as the date of the PO. This is almost never right.

Is there a way to allow an override of the date field during the transfer, or at the very least to use the current date as the date of the PO?

I'm bumping this because I'd like to know as well. Sales staff do not remember to manually change the date.

There's no setting to override this.

The date of the PO is the date of the Requisition when approved. The date can be changed as soon as the PO is opened though. The Expected Receipt date can also be changed. When this is done, PO prompts the user for whether they want the Expected Receipt date for all items to be updated, or only items not currently having an Expected Receipt date (i.e. blank) or not.

Are you asking that PO prompt the user to enter the PO date at the time that the Requisition is approved? I can enter this suggestion for R&D for you.

Yes, that's what I'm asking. Why should it default to a date that is wrong 99% of the time? Where's the logic in that?
