We are running A/R 8.1A (070920).
(I know - it's time to update to the most current version. The client has blocked off time for us to perform a complete upgrade of all our modules late in Dec.)

In any case, they are receiving an error: 1011 insufficient rights to create file in data directory.

We searched this forum and it appears that we may be missing an index file, but we are unsure what the missing file is and how to correct this.

At what point does this error appear? Is DIC clean?

DIC reports no errors on the first go-around.

The error appears when the user is on a Finder field, and presses F6.
Pressing F5 works. But if we were to first press F5 and then F6, or F6 directly - error.

With everyone out of Adagio, backup the completed data set, then find and remove all ??F#####.DAT files.

At one time there was an issue with these temp (finder) files not getting deleted but I forget what the fix it. At this time you have run out of available numbers.
