When I print or view negative numbers in Adagio, I want the number to appear in brackets.

It does in Accpac for Dos and it does in my Excel spreadsheets.

Is there an adjustment I'm missing?

Is this in the Financial Reporter or in the Ledger program? That would make a difference.

In the Financial Reporter, you can always change the negative format for any or all cells as desired.

In Adagio Ledger, sometimes the currency field settings are determined by the Currency Code of the data, and sometimes by the Windows Regional settings. It might be that for a GL field in question, you have one or the other of these with the - negative indicator, instead of ( ).
