The import/export information isn't in the manual, but instead in the 'Quik Invoice for Windows 6.5A' addendum, which is an 82-page booklet. All the information for importing either invoices or items is listed there.

You are correct that the format is different than for AR invoices; in fact it is very different. If you wish to get a quick sample of what an importable file looks like, there are 2 ways:

- A sample import file is included in Sample data.
- Exporting invoices uses the same format as for importing. You can create an invoice and export it to see what it looks like.
