How many phases are available in the job cost module and are the phases customizable? Does the job cost module work with distribution codes? Are the job numbers customizable and how many characters are available?

each of the job/Phase/Category fields are 6 characters. Job numbers can be setup manually so you can enter anything you want in the six character field. I believe the limit to the number of individual phase codes is 65,535. Job Cost works with Payables which would give you access to the distribution codes.
