Hello Sellig
I am not familiar with this program, however it is doubtful that Adagio can 'convert' the data. It is possible that the data can be prepared for use with Adagio, though, depending on what it's capabilities are.
For example, Adagio has import functionality. If the Century software can export data, there is a possibilty that Adagio could import it, depending on the module involved. Following is a list of the Adagio modules and their respective import capabilities in the currently shipping versions. (Future releases are expected to include more import options.)
Using the existing accounting app?s export capabilities, and Adagio?s import function, perhaps you can get most, if not all of their existing data into Adagio, after the initial setup has been done in Adagio to prepare it for accepting new records. (i.e. the Company Profile would have to be setup, along with the defaults such as control accounts, terms, tax groups etc.).
This is what each module can IMPORT:
ADAGIO LEDGER
? Accounts
? Batches
ADAGIO RECEIVABLES
? Customers
? Invoices
? Cash Batches
ADAGIO PAYABLES
? Vendors
ADAGIO INVOICES
? Items
? Invoices
ADAGIO INVENTORY
? Items
? Shipments
ADAGIO ORDER ENTRY
? Ship to Addresses
? Orders
Within each import area, there are many fields to choose from, with certain expected values. The most successful format is .csv, but there are other formats as well.
Hope this helps. If you need additional information or a referral to a Softrak Business Partner in your area, please let us know.
