We email invoices to customers all the time and they used to link to an Email Cover we have on file called "INV". The cover is still there, but for some reason in OE Email Queue, the cover is blank. Our customers are complaining that they are getting invoices without a message or subject. How can I set it up so that all Invoices automatically use the INV email cover?

Actually, in the Printing Invoices window, the email cover "INV" is selected. Then we click "Email" and can either send it now or add it to the queue. Either way the cover will not go with the email. We are using "Use Customer Specification" option and most of our customers do not have an email cover specified, in which case I thought it should default to the email cover selected in OE, but it doesn't. I'm pretty sure it used to work. We haven't changed anything on our end. Maybe one of the last upgrades or service packs brought this change? It seems to me that we can no longer send an email cover if "Use Customer Specification" is used, unless you have it specified in the customer's profile.

Are you aware that there is an issue here? Or am I incorrect?

Why would it work differently than the Invoice Specification or the Credit Note Specification? Most of our customers are set up with nothing in these fields either but they all default to what's in OE Company Profile. There a default setting in OE Company Profile for Order, Invoice & CN Print Specs, Fax Specs and Email Specs. Everything but Email cover sheets.

I exported/imported all of our customers with a email cover spec so the issue is solved now. I'll also need to remind everyone to add these email cover specs when setting up new customers.
