Hello Marleen

This error can occur for a couple of reasons, but they really boil down to the same thing - either there are no currency files in the location you entered at the EZTASKS/Currency prompt, there is something wrong with the drive mapping on your network or the system you are using to point to that path (location) does not have access to that drive or folder.

If you have been using QCWIN with ACCPAC Plus then you would enter the path to the ASP directory at the prompt, e.g. X:\ASP, where X represents the drive where the ASP folder resides. Normally, the path to the EZTASKS and Currency files are the same, but not always - you may have to check with somebody that could verify this for you. If you are on a network, there may be multiple 'ACCPAC' drives - make sure you are pointing to the correct one.

If you have not been using QCWIN with ACCPAC Plus data (i.e. using QCWIN by itself), then it is possible that you would use X:\Softrak\System for both the EZTASKS and Currency file location.

Once you have verified the location of these files, you should no longer get this error.

NOTE: QCWIN is a discontinued product now, and as such, we cannot offer full support. QCWIN has not been tested on the newer versions of Windows and there is no guarantee that once the above problem is resolved you will not have other problems. Our older 16-bit products have been long since replaced by our Adagio modules, which are fully functional 32-bit Windows applications. There are no known issues running Adagio on newer versions of Windows.
