The only thing I can think of at this point would be to take the paper out of the printer, then print to the printer, then cancel the job from the printer's memory.

Sorry blaster off the answer too quickly. I did mean the you would print the invoice to file using a PDF driver. I just tested this with Jaws PDF, it created one file for all invoices that I easily deleted.

Do you have the "Softrak Softfax" as an available printer? I've used that previously to print things that I didn't actually want as it was quicker than printing to PDF and deleting.
