We have been having pricing and cost errors in Adagio Inventory in the past few days. It seems like randomly selected items' prices and costs are being multiplied by factors of 100, 1000, or 10,000. Regional settings have been check and are fine. We were told upgrading to the latest versions of Adagio would fix this but it is still happening.

We are running:
Adagio Inventory 8.1B (091210)
Purchase Orders 8.1A (091029)
OrderEntry 8.1C (090731)

UPDATE:
It appears as though we have found out what is triggering the problem. We believe the source of the problem is in OrderEntry. When we open up an order in OrderEntry and post the order, it multiplies the price and cost of that item in Inventory by 1000 or 10,000. When we open up the item in OrderEntry, the price and cost are multiplied by 10. We have tested it on a few items and it is consistently doing this. How do we fix this?

Upgrading doesn't fix past errors that already exist in data. Often we tweak the DIC in new releases and, therefore, after the upgrade, DIC may be able to detect and possibly fix errors that existed before. Make sure you have a backup and run DIC in all 3 modules.

Upgrading will prevent errors from occurring moving forward from the upgrade if the errors were caused by a program problem we were able to duplicate and fix.

Is DIC 'Data Integrity Check'?

If this doesn't fix the problem, what are you suggestions?

At best the historical errors may be correctable manually, at worst a database repair (or at least some back door fixes using GV-RW) may be required. You should obtain some expert assistance to sort this out.

For IC you may need the Hot Fix issued 100310 and for OE you may need the Hot Fix issued 100208. These are only available from your Adagio dealer.

Yes. They were able to create the problem on command. Problem was solved by un-installing OE and re-installing the current full version plus the latest update.
