Well, whether or not you need to know anything before you try re-installing SA depends on your experience with installing ACCPAC Plus and related programs. If SA and the associated products are installed on a network server, then you may want to get assistance from somebody in your office (or your ACCPAC Dealer) who is knowledgable in these areas.

If you are confident regarding how to accomplish this, then there is nothing (else) you need to know or do, apart from making sure you have made a backup of your data prior to doing this (just in case). Installing or re-installing SA does not affect your data at all, as you are only installing program files, which normally reside in a separate program directory from your data.

Yes, you would simply install SA from it's original diskette, making sure you have the same version of the SA program diskette that you have installed on your system. SA and all other ACCPAC Plus programs install by using the WSM Installation function. Quite frankly though, if you do not know how to install it, you should find someone who does.
