Hi Debs,
In Quik Reports for Windows 6.2B, about as close as you can get is to run a report through the Compiled Report function. Though it doesn't run 'automatically', you can set it to run at a time in the future that you specify. So if you need a certain report to run overnight, you can launch the compiled report executable file, and set the report to print at 8:00PM or whatever time you need to. It's possible that you could set up multiple reports to run at different times (I haven't tried this), though you'd have to make sure that 2 reports don't overlap their printing times.
It's also possible that some Windows macro software might be able to do this for you. Quik Reports for Windows does not have macro capability built in, but I don't see why it wouldn't be able to be launched by some other program that emulates Windows macros.
As for later version, we have just started shipping Crystal Reports 8.5 for Adagio, which is 'similar' to Quik Reports for Windows but uses the much more powerful Crystal Reports 8.5 engine. I do not believe that automatic running of reports is a capability of Crystal Reports in general; it might be the dominion of an associated product Crystal Enterprise.
In any case, there really isn't a way to print reports without some sort of user intervention without some sort of macro capability.
Regards,
