Just wondering if I should be concerned about this - it doesn't seem to be causing any problems besides inconvenience.

A certain user seems to keep on getting this error (although she doesn't get it all the time) when she tries and clears the transactions or adjustments journal after printing them (in IC 8.1A 070825):

Critical Error: [1] unknown error deleting dataset.

Should I be worried?

You should always be concerned about critical errors.

This was a known issue back in 2007 and several upgrades have been released since. Off the top of my head I don't recall if the solution is in one of these upgrades or if the particular workstation causing the problems needs to be troubleshooted.
