Hello again!!!

I'v created new fiscal year 2010 and the system allows me to work in 2009 and 2010, however when I retrieve job cost, show an error telling me that "date outside of open fiscal periods"
Can you guys tell me how to retrieve job cost in 2010?
by the way I have not closed 2009 totally.

Hi John,

Adagio Job Cost has a separate period identification than other Adagio programs. First check the company profile on the Options tab and within the 'Data Entry Options' group, look for the option to 'Warn on invalid fiscal periods'. Is this selected?

Then close the company profile and look under the Edit menu and 'Entry periods'. Do you have any entry periods defined for the year 2010? Are they Open or Closed?

If you have the 'warn on invalid fiscal periods' option enabled but no periods selected for 2010, or you have 2010 periods but these are Closed, then this is the reason for the error. It doesn't have anything to do with Ledger. Either create or Open the entry periods for 2010 or disable the 'warn' option.

It is easy to create the entry periods - just click the Retrieve button and the fiscal calendar years from Ledger will be brought over.
