My problem is that when I installed Adagio I was using microsoft works on my PC. As I get more familiar with the Financial Reporter I would like to create my own reports. However, Microsoft works is limited and I wonder...

If I install excell in my PC..How do I get the Financial reporter to use Excell instead of works?

The Adagio Financial Reporter that comes with Adagio Ledger has it's own built-in spreadsheet capability, and does not require any other spreadsheet application such as Works or Excel. You do not need to buy anything extra to use the Adagio Financial Reporter.

With that being the case, you cannot design a Financial Report in a different program (such as Excel or Works) and then bring it over to work in Adagio. The designing of Financial Reports can only be done from Adagio.

If you are referring to our program Quik Link for Excel, which also can create financial reports, it's connection to Excel is made during installation. If it doesn't seem to be set up correctly, you should try reinstalling Quik Link first. There is a field where you enter the location of your Excel program during Quik Link installation.
