We installed Adagio Ledger and connected it T&B, Receivables and Payable. We are not currently using the ledger, have not used it in the past and do not intend on using it in the near future. How can we disassociate Ledger with T&B, Payables and Receivables and uninstall it. Also - what will be the effect of disassociating Ledger with the other progarms.

You should be fine. Time&Billing requires Receivables but none of those programs require ledger, neither does Payables.

If you have any Ledger data (beginning with GL), you'll want to remove it. I'd always suggest making a backup of your data first, before making any substantive change.

In the T&B module there is a check box under the Firm Profile (Integration) - Is is correct to just uncheck this box to disassociate T&B with the ledger. IN the payables and receivables modules - I do not see an option like this - is there one and if so where is it and if not how do I disassociate the ledger with these modules.

Yes, you can uncheck this. The box is really to tell T&B, if GL data exists, whether or not you want to integrate with it.

To help the accountant, you may want to keep the Ledger (as ou have it) and have the subsystem check all transactions for valid account codes. You can retrieve the batches to the Ledger, save them and not post, or just retrieve and delete them. This way correct account codes will be used in the subsystem and in theory re-entered into your other Ledger.
