While installing 9.0B the install completed with the error message "Error Wrong filename. Your system did not correctly handle long file names" Directories were m:\softrak\ledger and m:\softrak\system. This is a windows XP pro install with Novell file server. No issues prior to software upgrade. I am wondering how to proceed to resolve this.

Turn on long file name support on your Novell server (although I don't understand how you could have installed Ledger 9.0A) without thus being turned on.

I have resolved this issue. I found a single file in M:\Softrak\ledger\LedgerFinRep.exe was named Ledger~1.exe
I renamed it and all appears o.k. Other long file names installed correctly, just this one that I know of. Thanks for your help... Denis

Yes, I have had the same problem with this file and have had to rename it after installation. Also a Novell user.
