I am trying to close my fiscal year, but when I print and clear the Batch Status Report, a couple of the batches will not clear. I cannot proceed. What do I do? Is there a fix for this problem?

Ensure you have Adagio Ledger 90B. Then run an integrity check and that may fix errors you have in your data that is preventing you from printing and clearing.

Hi Donald

I recently ran into this at a client using GL 90B. It turns out that the box to allow purging of posting journals in the Company Profile was unchecked. Checking it off allowed closing to proceed.

This may not be your problem, but I think more and more users will run into the issue.

Hi,

We run Ledger 9.0A. There were two deleted archive batches in Ledger 8.1A and I think when the conversion was done those two batches came up in error. I will check the Company Profile for the purging the posting journals. I will install Ledger 9.0B later but I was trying to see if I could sort the problem out. Can you check to see if there is a fix for my issue or if Ledger 9.0B will sort the issue? Thanks.

I done an integity check with Ledger 9.0A and there was no errors found. Somehow it is not picking up the two archive batches with the errors.

Hi Donald,

There was a known issue in the earlier releases of 9.0A that had the symptoms that you describe and I believe there was a HotFix but this has since been superceded by the Ledger 9.0B. As suggested by Softrak Support above, you should install the Ledger 9.0B (090713)upgrade. BTW there is also a HotFix (091110)that's been released so give me a call if you want to install that as well. So... backup, install the upgrade, run the DIC and Rebuild if necessary. You should be OK to Print and Clear after that.
