Is there a table that will give me:
* Item # * Qty on Hand * Location * Last Receipt Date * Last Ship Date
I need a report to show dead stock at our other branches.
I can use I/C Items (1,3) Master for a dead stock list but I can't break it down by location.
Or I can use *IC Item Loc w IC Item but then I can't view the Last Receipt Date or Last Ship Date.

Hi Susan,
I've asked that these fields be "unhidden" in the next release of Inventory/GridView. With composite tables we hide many of the fields, otherwise the resulting field list is overwhelming.

I was reading your thread. I am trying to learn to use gridview to make reports better for my client. I went to the short cut, target path and put /a at the end (after .exe) and it says that the path is not valid. What am i doing wrong.
thanks Laura

Hi Laura:
Please open the GV icon, highlight everything in the "Target" field, copy it and paste it into a message here in the Forum.

Hi Laura:
To add one thing to Support's comments, that path looks perfectly correct .. if Adagio is installed on your own PC. In other words, if you are using Adagio through a local area network, we would expect to see a letter other than C: (i.e. F: or G:).
If you aren't certain, check the icons for the other modules that do work and change the drive letter on the GV icon to match those.
After some thought, I think I know what happened: The instruction "C:\Softrak\GVWIN\GVWIN.exe /c /a" provided by Support was an example. It was the "/c /a" part that they suggested be added to whatever the existing path was. If you replace C: with the same drive letter from the other icons, you will be back in business.

There must be a space between the EXE and the command line parameters and a space between the parameters themselves. As a note, "/a" exposes all of the fields in a table and is not for the faint of heart (that's why it's an option).
If setting a program shortcut is beyond your "comfort zone", then I might suggest asking someone to give you a hand over the web.
